Customer and partner information from the Endress+Hauser Group

Sanctions as a result of the war in Ukraine and the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic continue to influence supply and logistics chains worldwide, as well as the availability of raw materials and energy. Endress+Hauser is responding to these developments with comprehensive measures. Our aim is to provide our customers with the best possible support and to always ensure our ability to deliver.

Effects of the war in Ukraine

  • Endress+Hauser is fully complying with the sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus by the USA, the European Union and the Swiss Confederation.

  • As a result of these sanctions, we no longer ship products for end use in Russia. Endress+Hauser has terminated all sales and service activities in Russia.

  • The Russia–Ukraine conflict does not affect material availability in our worldwide production network or our ability to deliver.

Potential energy shortage in Europe

  • A sudden interruption in the supply of Russian natural gas would not impact Endress+Hauser’s manufacturing.

  • Natural gas is used at some of our sites for heating and cooling. In the event of a shortage, we have already completed the conversion to other energy sources or we are in the process of doing so.

  • In parallel, we are continuing to work on becoming independent of fossil fuels in the long term.

Ability to deliver and material availability

  • We are generally able to deliver worldwide; our global production network is up and running.

  • Production bottlenecks and disruptions on the part of suppliers affect material and component availability on the world market.

  • We are in constant communication with our partners to prevent problems.

  • Limited capacities of logistics service providers may result in longer transit times and higher costs.

  • In the event of longer delivery and transit times, our sales centers inform and support affected customers.

    

With regard to these challenges, we kindly ask our customers to place orders as early as possible and, if necessary, to include us in their demand management. This will help us to ensure the reliability and on-time delivery that you have come to expect from Endress+Hauser, even in difficult times.
