Electromagnetic flow measurement with efficient loop-powered technology for the chemical industry

Promag 200 is the first electromagnetic flowmeter that can be seamlessly and flexibly integrated into process control systems. The HART, PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus communication protocols supported by the standard device version gives engineers greater flexibility in designing the measuring point.

Seamless integration and flexible use

  • Developed according to IEC 61508 for use in SIL2/3 safety instrumented systems

  • All conductive liquids such as water, acids, alkalis with a minimum conductivity of >20 μS

  • Nominal diameters: P-sensor: DN 25 to 200; H-sensor: DN 2 to 25

  • Process temperatures -40 to 150 °C

  • Process pressures up to PN 40

  • Liner materials: PFA, PTFE

  • Electrodes: stainless steel, alloy, tantalum

  • Power supply: via 4 to 20 mA (18 to 36 V)
